Ask to see their credentials….
Work in the HVAC-R industry must be performed by a certified Red Seal HVAC-R professional and could also include one HVAC apprentice. For quality work and safety reasons, the apprentice must always be under direct supervision of the Red Seal professional.
Typical work crews consist of at least one certified Red Seal HVAC-R professional and could also include HVAC apprentices. For quality work and safety reasons, the apprentice must always be under direct supervision of the Red Seal professional. Typical heat pump installations must ALWAYS also have a licensed electrician to do the electrical part of your new installation.
** Electrical and HVAC are 2 different trades therefore,
it should NOT be the same guy that is doing all the installation.
Ask to see:
• the Red Seal HVAC-R card
• the Electrians’ license
Don’t be caught with a “parts changer” technician.
Choose someone that will fix the part that is ACTUALLY broken.
We believe that any problem can be solved with a process of elimination. This can only be done properly if someone has a comprehensive understanding of the complex technical requirements that this industry needs.
The knowledge, the vast experience in fault finding along with the silver and gold medals won at the Skills Competition is a testament to the hard work, dedication and high standard of excellence we provide.
No matter the “brand” of air exchanger, ducted heat pump or ductless mini-split heat pumps, most of them are very similar for warranty.
Example: ductless mini-splits can be 10 or 12 years limited parts warranty
Because we sell many models and the warranty varies depending on the model, when we go over things with you, we can let you know what the warranty is for your new unit and/or replacement part that you are choosing.
Beware, most problems arise from poor installation.
This is why it’s important to choose your technician wisely otherwise, if a problem arises after your installation, this could be costly to you.
